Chris Boonzaier
I think the French aviators in WW1 had a similar device, am not sure what it was for. I saw one on a French forum ages ago.
Tony
A very nice watch. I found a forum here http://orologi.forumfree.it/?t=67184056 however, it's Italian and I can't understand what they've said about the watch. If you can read Italian or know someone who does it might give you a little info. Tony Edited April 17, 2014 by Tony

It´s a italian chronograph calculating the release from bombs, I don´t know how it works but indeed interesting. It seems that there exists different versions depending from flight level. The production from this chronograph began in the late 1930s. KR Andreas

Tony
Great! All we need is a place to meet up, a few bombs and a tall building. Oooh that would be such fun. Tony
