What would the People's Republic have awarded to its soldiers who served in Vietnam during the Vietnam War?

AFAIK there was no special award for "chinese internationalist warrior`s".

Actually I don`t think that there were any awards issued at all, because during glories days of cultural revolution all decorations were abolished.

When I read

I thought that we are talking about 1965-1975 period of time.

Military aid, black ops, etc from People`s Republic to Vietnam.

Good thing that dear friend of mine read my post and suggest that we are talking about 1979 conflict between China and Vietnam.

If it is indeed the case, then there was special chinese award for participants of this war.
