muckaroon1960 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Quite a mixed bag this bought off a work colleague. 2 Carlisle US Army bandages both marked large. British made US bandage pouch M E & Co 1944. 2 boxes of MSA ear defenders ear plugs in their original plastic boxes large and medium. US Navy pull matches with still most in the packet. A complete packet of B&W cigarette papers, complete packet of TUMS antacid mints and a complete tin of Aspirins 16 in total made by the Certified Pharmal Co NY. A sealed empty envelope dated March 5 1945 Piqua, Ohio to a H Fluegel, PO Box 646 Franklin Sta. Washington 4, D.C. from Samuel Avy Jr, 745 South Downing St, Piqua, Ohio. Its an interesting lot for sure. I have seen and already have a similar set of the Carlisle bandages which I bought back from France and I have seen US kit made in the UK but the ear defenders are most intriguing?
Chris Boonzaier Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Those little goodies (Asperin, Tums, earplugs etc) are really nice. Wish i could find some WW1 German stuff in that line...
