Unidentified VOPO Headgear

Hi all, a question if I may, attached are two images of a VOPO officers hat, it's the same hat but my puzzle is, which type of cap-cords would it have had?, it came with the silver ones, but I've also seen them with the green ones (Got a spare one), was there some distinction?

green > privates and NCO's (Mannschaften bis einschliesslich Obermeister)

silver > officers (Offiziere)

gold > generals (Generale)

Hi Uwe, thanks for the information, I will put the silver one's back on and try to find a private or NCO's cap without cords!
