France French Foreign Legion medal bar ?

A few years ago I bought this medal bar for my Legion collection.

But now I have my doubts that it is a legionnaires bar. The

clasp Legion Etrangere is missing. But on the german SDA Forum

I saw a photo from an Ancien where the clasp was missing too.

I am afraid a fifth medal is also missing on the bottom right.

Anyway, the service bar is missing on the Defense Nationale Medal, like "Infantry", "Artillery", "Airborne", "Foreign Legion" etc.. One cannot have this medal with only the "geographical" bar like "overseas missions" or "Antarctica territories" or "French Forces in Germany" which is just complementary to the service bar mandatory granted at the first award.

Cannot believe that a veteran from the Foreign Legion is not bearing the bar "Légion Etrangère", at least.

Indeed, the Defense national is automatically given with the Legion Bar

Thanks Bison and Chris, that doesn´t sound good.

It was sheap, but I have to learn the hard way.

@ Bison the Ancien has on his medal bar only the clasp Infantry.
