    Chip,

I'm most interested in knowing more of your opinions on this tunic.

It's also apparently an altered issue enlisted man's tunic. Interesting to say the least.

    Cannon...

This 15cm s.F.H. 93 was the first piece acquired by the Lovett artillery collection in 1981. Ralph Lovett completed the ground up restoration in 1987. The projectiles pictured with are Gr.12 types. This was one of the most common and effective projectiles in service with the 15cm. s.F.H. design series.

Did the Germans really camo the guns with the disruptive pattern?

From Lovett Site which is very helpful.

Yes. Here is a photo from my collection: a camouflage pattern 15cm schwere Feldhaubitze 13 (15cm sFH 13)

I liked this tunic so well that I bought it. It's an issue tunic reward ked for an officer. Nice, light wear to the tunic.

Thanks you. The search for a nice artillery Schirmmutze to match the tunic continues...

I would love to find some good photos on Fußartillerie officers wearing similar tunics to display on the wall behind this tunic.

I was looking at photos on line and came across and interesting officers tunic fir Fußartillerie  “272” with Guard Litzen

so, I imagine these officers are transfers to other units.

    I think it’s 272.

I suppose it wasn’t too uncommon for officers to be transferred to new units and keep their litzen if from guard units.
