Iraqi Berets

Here is a selection of my Iraqi berets.

Maroon- Airborne

Green- Special Forces

Blue-Gray- Air Force

Black with emblem- Generals and Ministers.

I know that I am missing a bright red(MP). What others are out there?

Republican Guard, Fedyeen, supply and logs.

RG. What color is that one? Black?

Fayadeen is black with the enameled pin, right?

What color is Logistics?

The RG is Black but it have a red enameled or cloth strip next to the eagle. They are hard to find.

The feyadeen is Black with a saddam enameled pin.

The logistics. I have to look at my collection and I have to get back with you on that one.

You have a Black Republican Guard marked beret in your collection already! It is the first one on your pile.

If you look in my book on Iraqi Militaria on page 148, you will see the label and translation for it.

Sorry, I did not get back with you sooner but here is the photo of the beret. I didn't know if you want to see the full set with the uniform and gear.

It's a dark green color. If want I have a friend that I can put you in touch with that I can help you big time. He's pretty good and some of things that he have is amazing.
