Paul R Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 I think that any insignia for this organization is very rarely encountered. Great photo.
sabelwerke Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 good day Prior to the full institution off the Kriegsmariine and the repudiation of the Treaty of Versailles......The German Nation had ONLY, 10,000 - or - So Navy members allowed to Run-the-navy, Police-the-coast and Police the Rivers Man-the-existing ship and "Do all of the other NAVY duties and things" under the Versailles Treaty. The S.A. had over 3 Million Men in the organization and what better way to utilize those SA Member from the Reichsmarine and the Old Kaiserlich Marine and the Handelsmarine thanto form theminto a SA Unit ( Also an NSKK Marine and Motorboat unit. There is very-Little-written on this, as of yet. Photos to come later Michael sabelklinge sabelwerke1@att.net
