United States US Army buttons

Hi there! I have these 9 buttons. They are 25 mm and are bigger than casual front buttons on Green Service Uniform (I have two coats and buttons on 'em are smaller). And eagle differs a bit. What period are these buttons?

And these buttons are on my uniform. The difference is obvious.

I'm a bit suspicious that these are not US Government issue buttons. The sharpness of the stamping is not as clear as we usually see. The back is also different from any that I've seen.

Then what are they anyway? Very curious bout that. I was lurking eBay and found buttons just like these but silver.

Hard to tell, when not marked!

I had die's of US buttons that have been made in Antwerp, just after the war.

They can be made anywhere in the world! The two rounds next to the loop, revels a rather modern technique of manufacture.

But can I sew them on the Green coat?

This is a set of buttons from my Dad's uniform (he retired in the late 70').

Cool. But I can't see similar buttons (I mean the back of the button).
