Jock Auld Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 (edited) Guys, I am gutted that the SB was not there. The extract he has copied is probably for pension purposes. I searched and searched but half of the load had been baggered and outloaded. On the plus side this is a fine debue for me as I did not have the yellow driving license before. Looks like he worked for the Brits after the war. Edited February 18, 2015 by Jock Auld
hucks216 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 (edited) I can see why you are gutted about the Soldbuch as judging by the awards page it would of been a great - and rare - example. But still a nice find and with the signature of Major Hans-Georg Lueder (the first commander of s.Pz.Abt 501) in the driving instructors license. Looks like he may well of been captured in Africa in May 1943, in which case he may well of torn out a lot of the SB pages anyway.. Edited February 18, 2015 by hucks216
