Mervyn Mitton
Very nice that the Div. HQ sent out a bulletin showing the reasons for the decoration. Your friend should have these properly mounted in a frame - with, if possible, a photo of the Corporal. This will make it an Heirloom. paul wood
Extremely nice as it is so difficult to find a great war MM with a citation for award, usually one only gets the gazette dates by which one can usually work out the theatre and action of the award (but not always). Mervyn Mitton
rumjar - was he a 'bit of a character ' ? He looks to be very ' relaxed' in this photo. Doesn't take away his MM though. Mervyn
