Chris Boonzaier Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Maybe i am missing a secret entry here.... but how is the price justified?http://www.ebay.de/itm/Militaerpass-1-WK-Bayern-Gebirgsjaeger-Alpenkorps-Isonzofront-Dolomiten-Italien-/331579999176?nma=true&si=NTSO54lilIkmv4YXcjT90%2BEAMSQ%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
HeikoGrusdat Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Pssssssst. ..... seem to be some crazy collectors out there in the military universe
Chris Boonzaier Posted June 22, 2015 Author Posted June 22, 2015 Gotta dig out my 3rd Jäger passes and go looking for the buyer!!!!
Chip Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Chris,What is especially disturbing is that the price got as high as it did without more pictures of what is actually in the pass. I guess you needed to take the seller's word for it. But if I was spending that type of money, I would want to make sure what I was buying first. Two bidders is all it takes, but in this case, two fighting publicly and one sniper.I know of at least one guy on the German forum who specifically collects anything to do with mountain troops and their campaigns and particularly the Izonzo battles. There are plenty of others who concentrate on the Gebirgstruppen and their theaters of the war (including me!).Bottom line.....silly price.Chip
Naxos Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I'm puzzled as well. IMO, there is absolutely nothing in this Pass that warrants the sale price.
