diwe
I came across an offer for a Soviet Konter (Rear) Admiral's (ко́нтр-адмира́л) Uniform (Model 1943-45), without shoulder boards, mismatched cap (not for flag officers), pants and dagger belt. I am trying to find a reasonable price. The provenience is questionable so I am treating it as a non-identified set. Any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance! Paul R
I cannot help with pricing, but I bet it is up there in value. Are there holes in the jacket to correspond with the orders and awards in the photo?
boaris
The tunic would be several hundred in value. Shoulder boards would be easy to obtain. Boaris
Ferdinand
The photo shows Nikolai Kuznetsov, the CiC of the Soviet Navy during WW2. He was a full admiral by the time this uniform type was introduced, so it's definitely not his. I'd say the uniform is worth about $400-500.
