Long and short of it... max and min heights....

I know the guard regiments had a minimum height, cavalry a maximum..... but I once saw a document that mentioned a Maximum height for men in Jäger battalions, that really surprised me.... can anyone confirm this?

Chris,

Height stipulations were detailed in the Heerordnung. The maximum and minimum for the Jägers was 1m 75cm and 1m 54 cm respectively.
