Information about IR432 needed....

Hello,

 

I need some information about Infanterie Regiment 432 , can`t find anything....where was it set up , which units were used to fill it up , which "home state" did it belong to??????

I Batl from Landsturm batl Schwerin

II Batl from Ladst Btl Kreuzburg

III Batl Landsturm ersatz Bataillon Gleiwitz.

Formed in October 1916

A little over 100 Military Merit Crosses 2nd Class were awarded to members of the regiment before Mecklenburg-Schwerin stopped gazetting the award in mid-1917. Probably a bunch more afterwards.

The Mecklenburg-Schwerin Regierungsblatt often did not show whether someone was active, retired, Reserve or Landwehr.

Here we have some faces to the names.... Beyer is left on the horse , Wendenburg is the Hussar on the horse and Berlin right from him on the horse too

Additional question....is there a complete list of this regiments officers out there?

Nice picture! I know of at least 5 officers with the ÖM3K. Any idea who the one on the far right is?

As far as I know, there is no regimental history, so I doubt there is a complete list of officers anywhere.

this is the name of the man with the austrian order.... not shure what it is....maybe Meyer ? Compare it with your 5 names....
