DRB 1643 Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Here is another Japanese medal/badge I just acquired. I was hoping someone (i.e. JapanX) could translate the writing on the reverse. It is scratched in so it is difficult getting a clear readable image.
JapanX Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Very nice badge. Original case for these one Mint Unfortunately I am unable to translated the reverse inscription (the image is too blurred + these are handwritten kanji)
DRB 1643 Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 Wow! Very nice. If I get a better picture of the reverse do you think you might be able to translate the writing? thank you
DRB 1643 Posted April 3, 2016 Author Posted April 3, 2016 Hi JapanX, here is a close up of the writing. Are you able to translate it? thank you for your efforts.
JapanX Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I was able to figure out only two kanji (left column - first and the third) 正 ? 聿
DRB 1643 Posted April 3, 2016 Author Posted April 3, 2016 Thank you, I sincerely appreciate your efforts.
