Chris Boonzaier Posted April 15, 2016 Author Share Posted April 15, 2016 Indeed :-) During the battle the village the 2nd Bavarian Jäger Battalion was the unit that took the village and captured the first French Flag and Machine Gun. The Jäger who captured the flag put it aside to continue the fight and it was picked up later by an infantry section. Type lagarde into german ebay and there are usually 4-5 cards showing the infantry capturing them. It took about a year to find this card with the Jäger on it.
