donkeykong15 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 (edited) Hi, I have recently been given a Nazi photograph album. However I know nothing about it! i have been trying to research information, but I am struggling! These two photos I think will help, but I cannot make out the name of the pub (it is in german). Also, there is a picture of two officers, and I wondered if anyone could help me out with these? Or have any ideas. Many thanks Edited June 21, 2016 by hucks216
dedehansen Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Hi, I read it as Gasthof Hinrich Thericke, but I couldn´t find anything about this Gasthof. Kind regards Andreas
Dave Danner Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I read it as Hinrich Thoricke. Google tells me there was a Gastwirt with that name in Lübberstedt to the north of Bremen. http://www.ortsfamilienbuecher.de/famreport.php?ofb=teufelsmoor&ID=I73847&nachname=THORICKE&modus=&lang=de Also, Haake-Beck is a Bremen-based brewery.
The Prussian Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Perfrectly research! The house is typically northern german style. Maybe they were comrades from Hinrich. A Hinrich Thoricke fell in 1943. http://grabsteine.genealogy.net/tomb.php?cem=200&tomb=49&b=a&lang=de
