Chris Boonzaier Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Hi, rrectly.... He earned his Ehrenkreuz as a 15 year old.... a pretty unique group I think? He was in the volunteer Motorboat Korps
Tony Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 That's a nice lot Chris. Do you think you'll be able to research his service?
Chris Boonzaier Posted June 27, 2016 Author Posted June 27, 2016 Unfortunately a dead end, but I will do some research on the crossings of the river. Did you see the erased 14-15 star on German ebay for EUR299? :-)
Tony Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Shame about that but the crossings should be a good little project too. Yes I saw that, I wonder if it's still there or if a bargain hunter has snapped it up along with some of those other cheapies like the 180 odd euro WWII home front helmet and the RASC sweetheart badge
turtle Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 (edited) Very nice lot, I´ve seen it before on the internet. There were, among other papers, promotion documents from his police service and a citation for the 1936 Olympics Rememberance Medal. Do you also have this files? Edited July 2, 2016 by turtle
