augustin1813 Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 A nice document for the knight cross of the Virtuti Militari for major Dautencourt of d'Autencourt (1er chevau-légers-lanciers de la Garde Impériale), november 26 1810, signed by Joseph Poniatowsky.
Matt Sobieszczyk Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Greetings: Does the reverse of this document have a translation in the French language? A similar document I am familiar with to Capitain Raulet ( another French member of this Regiment ) has this translation on the reverse. I am wondering if this a standard practice? Sincerely, Matt Sobieszczyk
augustin1813 Posted September 16, 2023 Author Posted September 16, 2023 Sorry for this late response. I didn't see your message. No, there is no translation on the back.
