brian1941 Posted February 7, 2017 Share Posted February 7, 2017 I recently purchased the Soviet Defense of Sevastopol Medal. Trying to authenticate it. I really don't want to hold on to a fake. Over the years there has been a lot of fakes going around (some are really good fakes and re-strikes) especially from Eastern Europe and former Soviet Republics. If there are any experts/knowledgeable people out there about this particular subject I would really appreciate your advice/suggestions.
