I wonder if Lambert's question relates to the fact that the swords, in themselves rough-looking, are really quite crudely attached and look as if they have been subsequently added to a medal issued without swords. The "swords" had been added in a rudimentary manner, I do not believe that it is to falsify, for it is very coarse .. however how much does it affect its value?
