coldstream Posted June 11, 2017 Share Posted June 11, 2017 Hello Robert, The London Gazette Supplement dated 23rd January 1945 has him listed under - 'For Courage, determination and skill during the landing of Allied Forces on the Coast of Normandy' Able Seaman Robert Elder Kennedy, Merchant Navy (Coleraine, Co Londonderry) https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/36903/supplement/518/data.pdf Not much out else I can find at the moment, will keep searching, would be nice to see some photo's if you can.
