Soviet Medal for Preserving Public Order Fed Version

I have just found this on ebay, and I currently own one, but have never seen another till today .

(I know another on of my strange possibly faked medal threads)

I was wondering if any one had any information on this medal

Does no body know what variation this, Preserving Public Order RFSR edition.

This medal is not featured in any of the guides?

The scans are typical HORRIBLE eCrap, so Lord knows from THOSE...

but isn't that the crest of White Russia?

Or is this a fantasy item? No idea, me.

According to my book Crests and Flags of the Soviet Union, the crest is from 1917 - 1940 and was the crest of RSFSR, but could be wrong due to my lack Russian.

I will try and get a picture of my own posted, but i ussually struggle to resize them

Most transitional medals are faked.

This one comes from a seller that is known to sell fakes.

Although, I find it funny how he's selling this huge collection from the "last" OMSA convention for the last 2 years...

Thanks for shedding some light on the Medal.

Mine came from a large collection of Soviet Medals that I bought off getleman, who picked them up in Georgia and NY dealers in the early 1990's, so I think mine may be genuine.

Unfurtunatly not the only transition (Russian Federetion) medal I got was the preserving pulic order and that doesnt have serial number.
