today i find my first Feuerwehr Ehrenzeichen. Its in a nice worn shape with original ribbon.

Just a little addition for these unsung heroes who's only aim was to save lives.

This volunteer fire fighter survived the war and continued to serve, receiving his 50 service medal on retirement.
