bryansk1959 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Good day. I saw such an order, please tell me if everything is OK with him. Thanks.Alexander.
augustin1813 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Hello! Crown and star: Restauration. Centers: Monarchie de Juillet. Have a nice day. Augustin1813.
bryansk1959 Posted November 8, 2017 Author Posted November 8, 2017 Many thanks. I'm sorry, is this normal?Alexander.
Dave Danner Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Alexander, the July Monarchy (Monarchie de Juillet) was the period from 1830 to 1848 when France was a constitutional monarchy. Given the age, and the tendency of the enamel on this order to break easily, the example you show is in very good shape. You can see some examples of different versions here: http://www.cndp.fr/crdp-reims/ressources/dossiers/legiondhonneur/panneau8ter/panneau8ter.htm
augustin1813 Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 In the 19th century, due to frequent political changes, the centers were replaced according with the new statuts. So one can find stars "1st Empire" with centers "Restauration" or "Monarchie de Juillet", stars "Restauration" with centers "Monarchie de Juillet" or "2d Empire", and so on... All combinations are possible.
bryansk1959 Posted November 9, 2017 Author Posted November 9, 2017 Many thanks. It seems that this type, as you wrote: the crown "1st Empire" 3 type, the center-July Monarchy.
augustin1813 Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 There are lilies on the crown, so "Restauration".
