A friend in Russia has just researched a St George cross of mine...how do I research the regiment...any help gratefully received..thanks, Paul

9th Emperor Peter the Great's Ingermanland Infantry Regiment,

3rd Kaluga Infantry Division

For distinction in combat 8.03.1915

I'd start with the friend in Russia, and then try googling the regiment name in it's original, Cyrillic form.
