Hi,

Need a little help with 2 taunts iv, e turned up only photos I have at the moment ,camera problems? I've come up with nagamitsu on one and mitsunaga on the other am I even close and any more info much appreciated will take more when I can.,can only upload this one at the moment.

Looks like this sword was made by Ichihara Nagamitsu (1886-1960).

where 

長光 - Nagamitsu 

道 - most likely from  剣道 - kendō/way of the sword

 Yep, looks like you are right.

天正九 = 1581

So it couldn`t be Ichihara Nagamitsu.

長光道 can be read as Nagamitsu Michi.

OLD THREAD UPDATE

 

MITSUSADA (光定), but I don't know what era.  They range from the 1300s to the 1800s.
