Do you have any info on this shoot down ?? Lots of confusing info out ! I believe he crashed into sea ? But some say he was taken to the Chinese as a POW and sent to Russia ?

No really... HE was shot down on 12 Feb 1953. I can try to see if can get some info on the actions on this day.

Regarding his possible survival and subsequent transfer to USSR, I think there are people working on such cases: U.S.-Russia Joint Commission on POW/MIA Affairs (USRJC)
