Heer Carmine or Bordeaux

These were sold by Detlev as High Command Staff which would be a Carmine waffenfarbe. I think it's a Bordeaux which would make it related to Smoke troops or Military Justice.

What are your opinions! Thanks in advance

Hi Larry,

Based on the lighting, it would appear that they seem to be more of a Carmine for Veterinarian/General Staff. I think that these tabs are for vetrinarians as the General Staff Officers used a different collar tab construction. I will post a pic later.

Assuming the color is accurate, I agree with you on Nebelwerfer troops.

General Staff/OKH are "fire department" carmine.

These are wine purple.

I think that Military Justice would be most fitting from the pics I see. You will need to post some clear scans when you get them in your hands... regardless of which of the three you have... they are all pretty darn rare!

Here they are on top of a set of Arty CT's. I see them more as a Bordeaux than as a Carminerot.
