It's the 3rd Republic model which was awarded between 8 Nov. 1870 and 27 Feb. 1951.

I was looking to sell this on GMIC because this has always been the place where people seem to have a genuine interest in medals.  What would be a fair price to ask for this?  I don't want to give it away, but I am not looking to sell it for more than market value either.  I would rather sell it sooner than later.

Yours is chipped as is usual as the enamel work is quite brittle. They are readily available on the market as they were awarded in huge numbers. They can be purchased for no more than 50 dollars
