PREM
Hi It's probably 3 rd type of of commemorative badge of the 2 nd Cavalry Regiment called ,,Rokitniański", in my opinion it's copy.
mariusgin
The polish badge was in this lot with majority of romanian badges for cavalry. The fanion is also polish from 1937 military horse contest held in Warsaw (is graved on the back). All the rest of the items proved to be original... about the polish badge i don't know much
PREM
Maybe take more detailed photos because it doesn't look good on the first one. Look at the link https://www.numisbids.com/n.php?p=lot&sid=410&lot=1296

PREM
Now it looks much better :-) , I think I hastily thought it was a copy. Maybe it is the so-called duplicate - silvered not silver, ordered by the owner in case the original is lost?
mariusgin
most likely the lot belonged to a romanian officer. i don't belive that he ordered another polish badge if he lots it. this badges was made just in silver? if the badge is ok what value can have? thanks
PREM
Price hmm circa 1000-1500 EU of course if it is original badge. maybe he got it as a gift from some officer of this regiment? He did not necessarilly order of the badge himself. Often regiment officers did this, keeping the original in the collection or to the gala uniforms, for fear of destroing the badge... Probably it was made generally in silver..
