This document was also called "German Instrument of Surrender". A bloody war since 1939 came finally to an end. German version of the unconditional surrender. VtwinVince Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 Perhaps the official fighting came to an end, but now it was open season on German civilians and POW's, as evidenced by the unprecedented ethnic cleansing of eastern Europe.
