Police merit badges

[DRB 1643]

Hi all, I’m assuming these are police merit badges of two different classes. Can someone tell me the approximate date of these badges? Are they post war?

More like achievements badges/功績

Japanese polce has a different badge for merit 功労 with a similar design.

Although the difference between 功績 and 功労 is quite subtle.

 

The earliest regulation that is known to me came from 1954.
