    Another variation of this model

    I can guess it is an early post Prince Battenberg issue by Rothe  --perhaps a bit later then 1880?

    See the swards they are hand made pattern on the back of the handles

    The central medallion appear flatter and the text is similar to Batenberg issue

    The rim is flatter compared to the other cross

    As a whole  the cross is finer and the quality is better compared to the other cross

    Thank you for the pictures i looked in my files for this Knight Cross I could not find it

    I did not bid on this one

    Frankly I do not bid on eMedals Auctions, since i found them a bit funny to say the least

    of course, it’s impossible to buy ALL :) 

     

    I prefer to collect awards from Prince Alexander Battenberg period and ready to exchange another my Items for Items from 1880-1886 yy.

    Yes, the Swards are rare, so are the swords on your VI-th class -the hand carved on the reverse
