Eric Stahlhut Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 (edited) Here's an interesting badge made by hofstatter in bonn. it's larger than a DRA or DRL badge. reference sticker on reverse (peter groch) states they also came in bronze and silver grades, 1935, and that they've sold for a decent amount at a past HH auction. Has anyone been able to identify this organization yet? maybe religious or lefty-pinko-banned-political-party pacifistic anti-war memorial? Edited January 21, 2022 by Eric Stahlhut
v.Perlet Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Hello Eric Stahlhut, "...or lefty-pinko-banned-political-party pacifistic anti-war memorial" ?? rather the opposite I would assume, since it seems to be about the "four" against the rest of the world. Probably some nationalist or Freikorps like organization. Can't get anything out of the internet in regards to this: WELTDENK Regards v.Perlet

Can't get anything out of the internet in regards to this: WELTDENK All of the allied countries are listed on an oak tree--a huuuuge symbol of strength and endurance in teutonic culture the word weltdenk means that the world stops to reflect (on the war). that's why i hinted at a pacifist/antiwar organization, of which there were many during the 20s, early 30s in germany Edited January 22, 2022 by Eric Stahlhut
Bayern Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 It looks clearly as a national pride badge , In WW1 Germany and three allies against virtually the rest of the World
v.Perlet Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 (edited) It's some-kind of Kriegerverein badge -war-veterans-assosiation-badge. somehow I got the feeling that I have seen that design before on some tombstone or war-memorial. Krieger Denkmal. Some of you guys, might find this useful (research of soldiers) the link however is mostly in view of Bavarian army members, mostly in regards to WW1. it has added links. http://www.moesslang.net/kriegerdenkmaeler_in_bayern.htm Regards v.Perlet Edited January 25, 2022 by v.Perlet
