    A nice find for my collection...this WWI set of medals with a coronation medal (atributed)

    2 A.M. A.D. Jones

    R.F.C. (R.A.F.)

     

    Can any of our British members give a help on what 2 A.M. could mean? 

    Also in the coronation medal is inscribe (Cons. A.D. Jones) what the abreviation "Cons." could mean???

    And what could be is first & second name A.D.?

     

    My thanks for any adicional information...

    Re cons usuaĺy means constable, possbly was a pc on duty during the oronation parade

    In WWI RFC/RAF  2 A. M. meant Air Mechanic 2nd class.  Air Mechanics served in Observation Balloon units and Aircraft Squadrons as mechanics and also flew as observers in reconnaissance squadrons.
