nickstrenk Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 I tried to find here but I was not successful.Thank you for the advice. https://www.medals.org.uk/vatican/vatican-text.htm
Marcon1 Posted March 7, 2022 Posted March 7, 2022 Hiya, Not a Vatican medal. The cross on the ribbon is the Jerusalem Cross. Maybe a medal from an religious organisation ?? What language is used on the medal, maybe that can give a clue to it's origin. Marcon1.
nickstrenk Posted March 7, 2022 Author Posted March 7, 2022 Many thanks for your attempt to identificate the medal. Not easy to read. Front side Cor Jesoev Misterere Nobis? Back side S Prochalis Rauloh?
El Ninja Posted March 7, 2022 Posted March 7, 2022 (edited) It is Latin. First line is : Cor Jesu sacratissimum, miserere nobis. Which is a hymn. Sacratissimum is probably obscured by the figure. I cannot see the text on reverse clearly, better photo would help. But,it looks like: Sanctus paschalis Paulus. It seems to be french in origin, Medal of adoration of Jesus. https://charmantiques.net/products/adoration-of-jesus-medal Edited March 7, 2022 by El Ninja
