Never owned or even seen one of these in person before.  I like this one but would like more opinions on it

It is good. Not easy to see from the pictures whether it is silver gilt or gold, but the safest would be to assume silver gilt. Looks like the post 1958 version, but difficult to tell from the pictures. At least post 1937 version.

I agree with kvart but gold or silver gilt the Order of St Olav is a beautifully made piece where time did not allow quality to slip
