    Dear Forumites,

     

    I am looking for the possibility to learn more about this prussian officer, who before stood in kurhessian service. What I found out about him I discovered here:

    The army of Kurhessen was beurlaubt on 01.11.1806, as v. W. stood as Fähnrich in the Kurfürst Regiment, he went into prussian service in the same year and was a Premierlieutenant around 1835.

     

    I know it is a long shot, but I am hoping to find out more about v. Wittern.
