Identify these uniforms?

To anyone who can help:

 

These are my Great Uncles and Aunt.  Can anyone identify these uniforms.  My mother's family was originally from Scotland and Ireland.  Anybody out there know what I'm looking at?

The man on the right could be wearing a Canadian Army uniform like the man below.

 

The other man could also be Canadian, can you read what it says on his shoulder ??

Thanks, the one on the right appears to match the uniform that you are showing.  I will look at the original photo and see if I can enlarge it enough to read what is on his shoulder.
