Engraving on a stein

I found this crystal stein with a silver lid at a garage sale. It is dated 1904 and has 2-3 names around the lid.  I'm having trouble reading it all due to wear and abbreviations. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cool stein Don, I think it's a piece of Studentika as opposed to military.

I too doubt it is military related but the people whom know how to read this will be around here.
