Italian Ethiopia Campaign Medal with 1937 bar??

Hi, I've had this in my collection for quite a while. Only just sunk in though that the bar is 1937 and the Ethiopia campaign ended in 1936. If it's therefore on the wrong medal can someone tell me which Italian medal it belongs on please?

for unknown reasons, one of the many bars for the Lybia medal was put on the ribbon of this Ethiopian Campaign commemorative medal.
