Paul C
Hello All, I tried to find the answer to my question on the Internet by no luck. Does anyone know the amount of silver in the Imperial Service Medal? Thanks in advance.
muckaroon1960
As far as I can tell based on Dixons Medal Year Book the ISM from 1920 is a made of Silver and no other metals? Before 1920 the medal was similar to the Imperial Service Order and was silver with a bronze wreath or star.

Michael Johnson
All silver since the star pattern was replaced. I would say a minimum of .800 and a maximum of .925 silver, but that is based on Canadian Second War Medals.
