Deutschritter Posted June 2, 2023 Share Posted June 2, 2023 (edited) Gentlemen, I am looking for all WWI decorations of the later SS-Standartenführer und Oberst der Polizei Max Schimmelpfennig, who served in the Grenadier-Regiment „König Friedrich der Große“ (3. Ostpreußisches) Nr. 4 and as Leutnant der Reserve in the Inf-Rgt Nr 176 and in the Reserve-Inf-Regt Nr. 3. He received the EK II and I and was wounded (at least) four times between August 1916 and October 1918. So he must have had at least the Wound Badge in Silver, maybe even Gold, in pictures he never uses his right arm, salutes with his left (maybe amputated)? Thank you!
