David M Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 (edited) Hi Gents! When Kurhessen was occupied by Prussia in 1866, its militairy went over to the prussian army. In one of the Husars Regiments, the kurhessian Garde-Gendarmerie (2 officers and 33 men) was incorporated. I think it went into the 13th, but I am not sure.Would anyone have the regimental history of either of these 2 regiments and could you tell me if there is any mentioning of the incorporation of the Garde-Gendarmerie?Hope you can help me out here!(I already tried the WAF, no luck there yet)Thanks a lotDavid Edited May 7, 2006 by David M
