How can you tell the 1914 EK2 is a fake?

Hi Chris, good morning! The one I just posted is a 1914 EK2 that has had the front ground off. The seller sold it as an 1813 EK2, which it’s not. This seller is a well known pusher of fake ODM & badges. The reverse die characteristic is consistent with the 1914 version of the cross. I think others might also comment on the beading as well. An unfortunate and common occurrence these days.

As Rick says, another Frankenkreuz, core details are all wrong for an 1813 example.
