VtwinVince Posted November 15 Posted November 15 How about another fake EK? This one on German fleabay and over 500 euro.
Stogieman Posted November 16 Author Posted November 16 Awful lot of these floating through US eBay, this “set” brought $687!

VtwinVince Posted November 19 Posted November 19 Yikes, looks like the 'engraving' is cast in to the back.
Stogieman Posted yesterday at 11:35 Author Posted yesterday at 11:35 Fake “1813 EK2”, $1013! Man, is this bidder going to be seriously disappointed!
ChrisKelly Posted yesterday at 11:49 Posted yesterday at 11:49 How can you tell the 1914 EK2 is a fake?
Stogieman Posted yesterday at 13:29 Author Posted yesterday at 13:29 Hi Chris, good morning! The one I just posted is a 1914 EK2 that has had the front ground off. The seller sold it as an 1813 EK2, which it’s not. This seller is a well known pusher of fake ODM & badges. The reverse die characteristic is consistent with the 1914 version of the cross. I think others might also comment on the beading as well. An unfortunate and common occurrence these days.
VtwinVince Posted yesterday at 16:48 Posted yesterday at 16:48 As Rick says, another Frankenkreuz, core details are all wrong for an 1813 example.
Stogieman Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago This person is selling a “PLM” every single week! Who knew they were so common? 😂 Asking was $1950, offered to me for a mere $1600! Someone bought it!
VtwinVince Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago At least the postcards stand a chance of being real.
