For his outstanding service as Staff Captain under the command of the 5th Army headquarters in Damascus, Syria, where he went for his Staff internship. 2. For his bravery and merits in the Battles of Derne in Tripoli (18.12.1911- 4.10.1912) as a Staff Major. 3. For his success within the Mediterranean Joint Forces Command while at the rank of Staff Major. 4. For his position as Military Attaché at the Turkish Embassy in Sofia as Staff Lieutenant Colonel. 5. For his success in the Arıburnu Battles as the 19th Division Commander in the Dardanelles War (20.01.1915-08.08.1915) while he was at the rank of Staff Lieutenant Colonel. 6. For his success as the 19th Division Commander in the Dardanelles War (20.01.1915-08.08.1915) while he was at the rank of Staff Colonel. 7. For his success as the 19th Division Commander (20.01.1915-08.08.1915) and the Anafartalar Group Commander (08.08.1915-10.12.1915), at the rank of Staff Colonel. 8. For his outstanding achievements in the Gallipoli Wars, at the rank of Staff Colonel. 9. At the rank of Staff Colonel, the Gold Medal of Merit (Liyakat) was awarded due to his extraordinary achievements in his duty as Anafartalar Group Commander. 10. It was awarded for his achievements in his duties as the 19th Division Commander (20.01.1915-08.08.1915) and Anafartalar Group Commander (08.08.1915-10.12.1915) during the Dardanelles War while he was at the rank of Staff Colonel. 11. In recognition of his brave behavior against the enemy while he was Anafartalar Group Commander at the rank of Major General. 12. While he was the Commander of the Diyarbakır 16th Corps as Major General, the Mecidi Order 2nd Class was awarded, skipping the 3rd Class, for his successes in the battles in the Bitlis region. 13. For his achievements in the Battles of the Caucasus Front while he was the Acting Commander of the 2nd Army in Diyarbakır (07.03.1917-05.07.1917) as Major General. 14. For his outstanding achievements while he was a Major General in the First World War. On the same day (28.12.1915), a 2nd Degree Iron Cross Order was presented again. 15. Awarded by Emperor Karl I for outstanding service against enemies while 2nd Army Group Commander as Major General. 16. For his achievements in the battles while he was Major General and the Acting Commander of the 2nd Army in Diyarbakır (07.03.1917-05.07.1917) and the Commander of the 7th Army (05.07.1915 - 09.10.1917). 17. For his successes on the Eastern Front in the First World War while he was Major General and the Acting Commander of the 2nd Army in Diyarbakır (07.03.1917-05.07.1917) and Commander of the 7th (05.07.1915-09.10.1917), while he was at the rank of Mirliva (Major General). 18. For his achievements while he was Major General in the First World War. 19. While he was at the rank of Major General, silver-enamel War Medal made by the German Company Werner, with the dedication in German on the back, "Sr. Exc. M. K. P." (His Excellency Mustafa Kemal Pasha) and its producer "J. H. Werner – Berlin" was given by Sultan VI. Mehmet (Vahdettin). It is not a Medal awarded for the second time (when a medal is earned again, instead of a second War Medal, the higher rank Medal of Merit was presented). It is a foreign production, a copy of the War Medal awarded on July 15, 1915. 20. Awarded by the Turkish Grand National Assembly for his extraordinary achievements in the War of Independence. Medal has a red-and-green ribbon when served both at the front and in the Parliament. 21. Kingdom of Afghanistan: The Aliyyülala Order was given by King Amanullah Khan of Afghanistan.
