Megan Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Another new King Charles medal for those interested. Instituted 20 June 1974 as the Queen's Gallentry Medal, and now under a new name to go with the 'new management'... there's also been a change in design, seeing as it had the name of the award on the reverse. 2

I am wondering if a holder of the QGM on being awarded the KGM would receive the KGM or a clasp to be worn on the QGM. Just a thought. Pete.
